Aparna, alumni of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, has worked for 3 decades in development sector. She is an accredited Functional Area Expert for Socio-economics recognized by NABET under Ministry of Environment and Forest. From grassroot community development initiatives; to international consultancy assignments she has undertaken various projects touching a wide variety of thematic areas like women’s micro credit groups, HIV/AIDS intervention projects, water shed management, child development, counselling, skills development, Social Impact Assessment and Evaluation studies. She has worked closely with various CSR initiatives and not-for-profit entities and brings on-board her expertise in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Impact Assessment. She has handled projects with, Modicare Foundation, MAHAGENCO, LAVASA Corporation, Global Equal Access, Agakhan Foundation, Educate Girls, Bharat Petroleum, Forbes Marshall, Magic Bus India Foundation, Committed Communities Development Trust through SocioQuest Solutions as well as a European Union supported CSR Strategy and implementation evaluation project.

She specializes in social impact assessment for large infrastructure projects like highways, railways, dams, thermal power plants, supported by international multilateral agencies like World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Asian Industrial and Infrastructure Bank. She has successfully completed over 50 projects under Social Impact Assessment and Rehabilitation Planning.
